Namibia is a vast and sparsely populated country and therefore, long distances often on gravel roads needs to be traveled to get to the places of interest. For your Photo Safaris in Southern Africa, especially in Namibia, we make it easy on visitors/clients, and aim to make it as comfortable as possible and to ensure that everyone is satisfied, within limits. We travel in good quality transportation and we sleep in good accommodation to ensure that you, the photographer or video person is well rested to spend all your attention and focus on the job, which is why you came here in the first place. Your photo guide and expert, Johan Jooste, is based in Windhoek and has traveled and photographed throughout the country. His general knowledge together with that of the company's tour guide, will ensure that the best possible places for photography is guaranteed.

Our tours are worked out for maximum photographic opportunities to visit all the major attractions, without driving unnecessarily long distances. We will also make sure that our guests will be at the best spots when the light is at it's best early in the morning or late in the day. We are blessed in Namibia with an abundance of sunshine, so good lighting is virtually guaranteed. Take notice that care must be taken to prevent sunburn, especially during the summer months.

Photography-wise, Namibia is a land of contrasts and unreal beauty and it is therefore not difficult to take beautiful pictures. Johan will assist any person that needs his help and his expertise throughout the tour, while in the evenings there will be review sessions of each day's work. For those people that have never been here before, I'd like to briefly discuss our main attractions here. Sossusvlei is an area in the southern-namib that is world renowned for it's multi-colored sand-dunes. I would strongly recommend a sturdy tripod, mostly wide-angle lenses here and some filters, like the Cokin graduated types and a polarizing filter.
